Technology Requirements

Anti-aging

After artificial accelerated aging, there is no obvious fading, cracking, blistering and dimensional changes, and the retroreflection coefficient shall not be lower than 80% of the standard.

Seawater Resistance

There is no abnormality on the surface after immersion in sea water, and the retroreflection coefficient shall not be lower than 80% of the standard.

Toughness

After 4h at -30°C, it should be wound on a 3.2mm diameter reel without any cracks.

Tensile Strength

Type A is not less than 16N/25 mm. Type B is not less than 330N/25mm in the longitudinal direction and 200N/25mm in the transverse direction.

Bonding Strength

The adhesive strength of the back of the A-type reflective sheeting should not be less than 16N/25mm.

Pressure Bonding Resistance

There should be no signs of sticking or peeling on the surface after the reflective surfaces are pressed against each other.

Salt Spray Resistance

After being placed in the salt spray for 120h, there should be no signs of corrosion and degradation, and the minimum retroreflection coefficient should not be lower than the standard value.

High and Low Temperature Resistance

After the high temperature of 65 ℃ and the low temperature of -30 ℃, there should be no obvious cracking and deformation, and the minimum retroreflection coefficient is not lower than the standard value.

Mildew Resistance

After 2 weeks of embedding under the specified mold conditions, the minimum retroreflection coefficient should not be lower than the standard value.

Abrasion Resistance

After being rubbed by a brush, the minimum retroreflection coefficient should not be lower than 50% of the specified value.

Stain Resistance

Contaminated reflective sheeting should have no visible damage or permanent dirt after scrubbing.
